Forget the bunny. This (below) is her new Christmas present: "teeth with food hats," or, (happy) teeth in desperate need of brushing. I love the gusseted structure of stuffed balls and her drawing looks like a fun opportunity to figure out how that works. And this really is just about all the sewing I'm willing to handle.
Gusset is such a great word: "a small, triangular piece of material inserted into a shirt, shoe, etc., to improve the fit or for reinforcement" (Webster's). Having been up at 2 every morning this past week, I may just be in sore need of a bit of gussetry in my own life. I think I have one more weekend of deadlines to go, but, lately, the tail of any completed project always seems to arrange its parts into a launching pad for the next.
I should draw myself a really wide gusset soon.
