So I had to feed the blog this past Sunday, and had not gone to the studio, since I was working on this other behemoth (by the way, I love Laura Miller. I'd marry her in a heart beat if she'd let me, and if I could keep Tom). I'd been pricing ceramic decals and getting a little discouraged, so I dug through my supplies, found a tube of underglaze and whipped out (seriously, I truly did) a drawing of an apple being peeled. And, all in one motion (that whipping thing again), transferred the drawing to one of my lovely new bisque plates.
Now, all that's left to do, is a clear glaze dip, a night or so of wondering if it ran in the kiln, and all should be well with the world. Right? I hope it works. Usually I get an idea, spend a week worrying it to death, then tiptoe backwards into actually making the silly thing happen.
