A half empty full glass
This weekend will be all about effortless things: a solitary cup of coffee before the sun is up tomorrow morning, getting the fridge back into the kitchen (we tiled the floor), and teasing out what I should do for this project. The last is not simple by any measure but it will be fun (and I get to work alongside my friend Ilsa).
Earlier, I looked at a 2-week-old heap of unfolded (but clean!) clothing piled on the living room couch and felt it all begin to close in on me again. Then Hannah blew in, flung herself on the pile and hugged it before launching into one almighty jump.
If she does that again I'm doing it too.
