First day, First Grade, new school
Neighborhood schools are the best. It's such a great feeling to be able to walk your kid a few blocks to school! The best part was, at the end of the day she asked if she could go back.
Her only fear was it-which-must-not-be-named: the schoolyard bully. And I'm sure there will be a few around. We'll weather it all. I certainly plan on whaling the tar out of every kid who's mean to her :)
