Worm

Done around the same time that she glazed her science project. I had some pieces left over from using the slab roller so we rolled/folded a section about, and this little guy came to life.

We've started doing more of these at home rather than in the studio downtown -- I think she's starting to dislike (again) the rigidity of the same two assigned hours on a Saturday for pottery. She had a lot of fun glazing this below, and tables can be cleaned, so whatever works. Because I want her to make a jillion of those birds on the left. It would be very fun to have our own kiln. Now there's a thought.

Great likeness: Her friend Jenea told her to hurry up and lose the other tooth since she could then show her how to squirt water through the holes.

Clay bird and a redesign. I want her to make an entire multi-colored flock of these.
