These will be taken down in a couple of weeks: They're up now at the Art Center of San Luis Obispo. I haven't been back since the (uninspired!) opening :) when I was very happy to see that the giraffe print sold (and sold, and sold again).
Last Thursday my beloved G4 died and took most of my work done in 2007. And, within a half hour, my portable hard drive died too. Being fearful of what I might find on my primary backup drive, I didn't look till yesterday. A sad discovery: In 2007, I skipped backing up to my main drive, relying instead on the drive I lost.
I think it's ultimately all fine. There's nothing that I can't redo if I want to (I don't), and all of what I've done is documented here, as are some of my Salon illustrations (the rest is retrievable). And I am sure that I have files for all my web design work.
So, time for a new chapter.
