Rudolph, the mousebear

Who began life as a paper armature, was covered in clay and fired. He was then painted with grey underglaze, save for his nose. And after the second round of firing, we were all so taken by the contrast between his nose and skin that we figured Rudolph wouldn't be happy with a clear glaze bath.
