Great book title
Last night we continued reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Roald Dahl's bio says that he was a story teller, and that his books grew out of the stories he made up for his kids. They're certainly meant to be read aloud, Hannah can't stop wiggling and squealing when we do :)
We had fun with this school project above, and, for obvious reasons, I am very thankful I have a scanner. Interestingly, when she drew the first bird, I told Hannah it was a parrot and not a pheasant. So we looked those up, and guess what we found. A bird in the pheasant family, the Golden Pheasant, which has parrot-like coloring.
